Foundation Flashback: Kareena Kapoor's e-portfolio

  Reflect back the work done in my foundation study, e-portfolio for Bollywood Star-Kareena Kapoor is one of my favorite work in my study career. The e-portfolio project is a group work.  This is a work made by me and my group member during my foundation study in art and design 1 year ago. The subject required student to create an e-portfolio for Bollywood Star-Kareena Kapoor. It is created by Adobe Flash, though it is not a perfect work done as me and my group member didn't have any experience on scripting and are green to design at that time. The flash interactive still have some button that can function, some are hidden. Videos are not included in this flash file too. It may not be a good work, however is a kind of experience for me in my career. TALK the talk: Phases in Design Development Cycle

  Generally, there are four phases in design development cycle. Each phase will contain different design processes that will relate with each other.

Concept Phase

Concept Phase is the initial phase of all design process. Designers will generate concept and idea to solve problem that they encountered in their daily life. At this phase, designers will carry out research and investigation in order to understand the problem as well as produce idea solution through research.

Design Phase

This is the longest phase of all. Designers will need to go through much critical thinking process in order to visualize their solution idea. Sketches, idea visualize, and computer generating graphic are part of the activities in this phase.

Prototype Phase

First generation design or original design is produced during this phase. Prototype is an experimental working model of something to be manufactured. Designers come out with prototype in order to identify the rate of success of their solution.

Production Phase

A phase where manufacture process and marketing planning occurred.
