Zomblick: A Zombie Apocalypse Technology

Zomblick is a concept art of a PC mouse with zombie skin texture printed on it. The actual message brought by this product is to advice people do not keep themselves in front of a computer for long time, if not they will look like a zombie. Human will look tired if keep sitting in front of a computer, draining their stamina, similar to a zombie who look for your brain, eager to suck your life, and turn you into one of them.

HND Lesson: Branding-Progress

  After few selection from the sketch, I decide to name the company and brand-Sigman. A combination name of signal or signature and human. The logo of the brand is a simple typeface logo with 2 arrow at the end of the first and last letter. Each letter is link with each other symbolise the company idea of connection, synchronization. The following is the progress of my branding together with the application of logo and the brand identity. My brand colour identity are mainly blue colour group and grey. Orange colour is seldom add as secondary colour of the brand.

  Sigman also has a secondary logo, an elongated hexagon logo surrounded Sigman original logo. The elongated hexagon gives the feeling of modern, technology. Two sharp edges of the hexagon also symbolise two arrow that similar to the original logo. An elongated hexagon is the identity symbol of the brand, pattern and icon of Sigman have the application of the symbol. Blue colour is the main colour of Sigman, blue represent friendly, trustworthy, confidence and intelligent.

HND Lesson: Branding-The First Step

The lesson needs student to create their own brand. Here is the first few steps that we eed to construct. A mind map about your concept and idea behind your brand and logo sketches. Few research about branding is done, and I had stated them on the previous post, feel free to read them, is really helpful tips. To put it simple, I created a brand for technology and electronic, the idea behind the brand is about synchronize, modern and creative. My product will has a feature to synchronize with owner smartphone, so he or she can connect or control the device anytime or everywhere when he or she needs it. It can also transfer data from owner phone to the device. Other side feature or idea behind my brand also include glowing effect, daring design and combination of two different product.
